Exploring the brain through ultrasound
Last Thursday,LE STUDIUM Thursday brought together LE STUDIUM Fellows around an exciting topic at the crossroads of neuroscience, imaging, and drug delivery: microbubble-assisted ultrasound for brain-targeted therapies.
Beyond the seminar itself, the afternoon was a great opportunity to exchange ideas, explore experimental platforms, and discuss how ultrasound technologies may reshape future approaches to non-invasive and targeted brain treatments.
A special highlight was the talk by my colleague and friend,Noboru Sasaki, LE STUDIUM Visiting Researcher (fromHokkaido University), who shared valuable insights into microbubble-assisted delivery systems and their potential applications.
The event also offered stimulating lab visits and discussions, made possible thanks to the strong involvement of: Frédéric Laumonnier, Hervé Boutin & Karen EA— and beautifully documented through the lens ofAmandine Grudé.
Many thanks to my colleagues fromiBraiN Lab for the warm welcome and for opening the doors to our research environment.
We would also like to thank theLE STUDIUM team for inviting us to showcase our laboratory and for the excellent organization of the informal networking moment at the end of the day.
A great illustration of how interdisciplinary dialogue fuels innovation in neuroscience and emerging technologies.
