[AWARD] Double congratulations to our PhD students Karen Ea and Zoé Ranty !

Proud to celebrate the success of two talented young researchers !
We are very proud to celebrate the success of two talented young researchers from iBraiN, both awarded during the SFR Santé Mentale, Neurosciences et Comportement scientific meeting.
Congratulations to Karen Ea, who received the Best Poster Award for her PhD work supervised by Patrick Vourc’h and Jean-Michel Escoffre: “Delivery Of Fluorescent Nanodroplets To The Brain Using Microbubble-Assisted Ultrasound In Mice” - Her research, supported by the ANR SonoCocktail project and the Centre-Val de Loire Region, explores the potential of microbubble-assisted ultrasound (sonoporation) to enhance targeted delivery of therapeutic molecules into the brain — paving the way for innovative strategies in neurotherapeutics.
Congratulations also to Zoé Ranty, who received the 2nd Poster Award for her PhD research supervised by Marie Gomot: “Encodage de la régularité des stimuli auditifs socio-émotionnels chez l'enfant autiste” - Her work investigates how the brain of children with autism spectrum disorder processes regularities in socio-emotional auditory signals, contributing to a better understanding of neurocognitive mechanisms involved in social perception and neurodevelopmental disorders.
These two awards perfectly illustrate the diversity and excellence of research conducted at iBraiN, from innovative technologies for brain drug delivery to the understanding of brain function and neurodevelopment.
Many thanks to all collaborators, engineers, clinicians, and researchers involved in these projects, whose expertise and commitment make these achievements possible.
We also warmly thank the SFR Santé Mentale, Neurosciences et Comportement for its continuous support of PhD students and early-career scientists, and for fostering scientific interactions between Université de Tours, Université d’Orléans, Université de Poitiers, Nantes Université and Université d’Angers.
