[PUBLICATION] Glutamate levels of the right and left anterior cingulate cortex in autistics adult

• Autistics adults exhibit contrasted results about levels of glutamate in the bilateral ACC.
• There are functional differences between the left and right ACC.
• Therefore, we looked at glutamate in the left and right ACC separately.
• No alteration in glutamate levels were found.
• To better understand the excitatory/inhibitory balance in autism, further studies should examine GABA in the same way.
